AKA " Das Frachtgut", this bus, fueled with 99.9% biodiesel was the perfect transportation for a tour of some Biodiesel facilities. The seating was especially designed to facilitate conversation and mobility among riders.

The City of San Francisco decided to step into the 21st century in big way. They are now turning a locally produced waste stream into fuel themselves. And they have a cool new vacuum truck to help them do it.
There is a lot to like about the design of this truck, note the steps that allow the driver to easily get to the top of the truck.

Set up in a great little building, Biofuels Oasis is a worker-owned cooperative.

Inside, the walls are finished adobe style using mud and horse manure. They even had a tiny diorama of their station!
